That will take you to the part of the site where you can purchase tickets online. Q. How do I get my tickets? A. You should pick them up at The Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street or at the performance starting 30 minutes before the show. Q. Where is PtownTix located? Details: Our PtownTix box office is located at The Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street. Details: Every page of the site contains a search tool that you can use to find information about an event, organization, or person. Type your search criteria (key words, event titles, names, etc.) into the entry box. Then click the arrow. The results for your search will be returned with links to specific pages on the site. Q. How do I find out what’s playing during a particular time frame? A. Use the TICKET FINDER feature. Details: Click the Ticket Finder button on the banner. From this page you can sort events by sale and performance dates. The first tab displays shows that are currently being offerend for sale. The second tab lists shows playing "today". The third displays shows playing "this week". The fourth tab allows you to choose the time frame. If you wish to see an event listing for a particular date range, select the dates by using the drop down arrows. If you would like to see what's playing on a particular date, select the date using the first set of drop downs. Q. How can I find listings for a particular type of event? A. Use the SORT BY TYPE feature Details: The SORT BY TYPE drop-down allows you to display the type of event you are looking for. You can sort by the following types: plays, musicals, cabaret shows, films, drag shows, concerts, dance, stand up comedies, readings, benefit events, and courses and seminars. Q. How do I find out what’s showing at a particular theater? A. Use the browse categories on the left side of the page. Details: The browse categories allow you to quickly find the organization you are looking for. You can also browse by performance venue. Click on the link and the theater or organization page will display. Q. Why is the “buy” button missing from some of the events? A. These are either free or they are not available for purchase online. Details: Some of the events displayed on the site have no admission charge. For more information on seat availability, contact the organization sponsoring the event. Their contact information is included on the event page. Q. What happens if a show is canceled? A. We will refund your ticket. Details: PtownTix will make every effort to contact you and inform you of the canceled show. We will use the contact information you supply during the online purchase process. You will be given a refund for the price of your ticket. Q. What happens if I arrive late to an event or performance? A. You will be seated at the discretion of the venue managment. Details: Please contact the organization sponsoring the event and/or the performance venue to find out what their late arrival policy is. Q. What happens if I make a mistake in my on-line order? A. If you contact us immediately, we will make all efforts to refund your ticket. Details: Call (508) 487-9793 and we will cancel your order.
